How would you make the aristocrat a PC Class

I like these changes, except the alignment restriction.
Stating the law and breaking it doesn't hinder progression.
There are too many examples to make this rule believable, IMO.

I'd say hey man you want a level of aristocrat...sure no problem....feel free. Oh you think it needs something else...humm, what?

Option A) player is reasonable and fair. Answer, sure.

Option B) Players wants the world. Answer, nope.

Im guession the player already has something in mind...let him choose it that way if he regrets it later....well it was his idea. I mean as long as its reasonble...an xtra feat or a few bonus knowledge (nobility) points fine.

It is actually pretty good, all by itself. And, doesn't need anything much if it is only one level.

What I'd do is add some flavour- the Noble has a +2 circumstance bonus to all skills that relate to his area/nation. That is- History, Nobility, Diplomacy, Area knowledge, Intimidate, gather Information etc- and one bonus language that is common in his land. This relects the fact he is better known, has met the areas Nobles, etc. But this all works only in his Kingdom- not some Empire a continent over. And, this +2 adds to his Leadership feat, when he gets it.

And of course, being a Noble might come in very handy in some cases. Most Nobles get free "guest privlidges" fro a few nights at other Nobles in that Kingdom- saves inn expenses.

I'd also add free weapon focus in the "prefered weapon of Nobles" in his area. Rapier, Longsword, scimitar- whatever is so de riguer that nearly every noble in that Kingdom carries one. And, of course a free MW weapon of that type (which replaces the regional free item you get from FR, etc). Thus, he has the same BAB as a fighter at 1st level- but only with one weapon.

Maybe, just maybe, a free feat at 6th, which could be Leadership or a few others.

I'd give them the Psychic Warrior's bonus feat progression, with a bonus feat list that includes the General feats related to social skills, a few Fighter feats that nobles would favor (Weapon Focus in weapons of the nobility, mounted feats), and so on. I'd give them Leadership for free at 6th level.

Instead of bonus feats, you could give escalating bonuses to Diplomacy, Sense Motive, Bluff, and Intimidate, to reflect both increased social training and the benefits of position and respect.

Aristocrats' special abilities should be based on being an accepted member of the nobility. Losing your title would cause the loss of bonuses to social skills and loss of access to special resources, similar to an Ex-Paladin.
