How would you RP a Gnome Conquest Paladin?

Eberron was just revised and people still think gnomes are always a joke? How about taking a trip to Zilargo and making your jokes. No return trip necessary.

I know the idea of a Gnome or Kobold Conquest Paladin is silly, but if you were to attempt it, how would you pull it off?

With glee. Oh so much glee! I'd assemble an army of weasels to do my bidding and rule from the shiniest throne you've ever seen.

But a little more seriously. I'd make this a forest gnome champion/commander of nature, and try to find ways to use its speak with beasts feature to urge them to rise up and fight alongside me.

I would call him Gnomercy Happypants. The Happypants is an unfortunate family name, but also an ancient and proud one! In the name of Holy Mother Church, he waxes his perfectly trimmed mustache and preaches the gospel of his faith in a Spanish accented deep basso voice seemingly made of rich corinthian leather. His blade never broken, his spirit never crushed, his wineskin nor his bed ever empty in the execution of his lawfully ordained duties. He only came here to do two things, woo your women and conquer your lands. And he's all out of women....

Gwarok is on to something there - play it as a full-ride Conquistador, only in miniature. Play it seriously in this role - hell, everyone else is gonna laugh anyway - but go just a bit over the top with it. Find it a shetland pony to ride around on, armour that sucker up, and start entering jousting tournaments. While field adventuring, be the hero nobody else can be: swashbuckling mini-Zorro for the win!
