How would you stat out that Mind Flayer Dragon (forgot the original name)

They had this monster and several others in a mind-flayer-themed article in the old Dragon magazine. Any suggestions how to update that monster to 5e?

I don't have the article, but I'd just take a chromatic dragon, remove the breath weapon and resistances, add a psionic blast with half the breath weapon damage plus stun, and give it telepathy.
