How Would You Use This Photo?

DM people-types, just as a bit of fun, how would use a photo visual such as this:

in a campaign? What lives there? Weal or woe? Eld home of elves and gnomes or the gnarled path to a "trollhole?"

I see a forest of fey that no commoner whant to enter, but maybe some adventurers how like to see the unsily court.

I see a forest that appears very creepy, but is harmless. Showing your PC's this and explaining all these creepy things will put them on guard.... FOR NOTHING!!!

I'd say it looks like a devastated patch of forest grwon back over. Perhaps in ages past, some sort of magical apocalypse hit the area. Now the PC's have to venture forth to find the remnants of a lost civilization or an artifact of some worth. Perhaps its what cause the destruction ages ago, or is the only thing to have survived the cataclysm.
