How Would You Use This Photo?

"Undergrowth: Vines, roots, and short bushes cover much of the ground in a forest. A space covered with light undergrowth costs 2 squares of movement to move into, and it provides concealment. Undergrowth increases the DC of Tumble and Move Silently checks by 2 because the leaves and branches get in the way. Heavy undergrowth costs 4 squares of movement to move into, and it provides concealment with a 30% miss chance (instead of the usual 20%). It increases the DC of Tumble and Move Silently checks by 5. Heavy undergrowth is easy to hide in, granting a +5 circumstance bonus on Hide checks. Running and charging are impossible. Squares with undergrowth are often clustered together. Undergrowth and trees aren’t mutually exclusive; it’s common for a 5-foot square to have both a tree and undergrowth."

Lots of great ideas. What is that from anyway?

From the Olympic National Park rainforest. I'm about to head out to camping there, and I'm hella excited! I was looking at the website and they have a lot of other great photos. I have to look every now and then think to myself, "How in the hell does anybody think that they can walk through that in plate mail?!?!"

Very carefully? It might involve cutting your way through?

Oh man, I love pictures like that - I use them in our campaign all the time. Does anybody have a good link for setting pictures? (e.g. forests, swamps, prairie - or ones with ruins would be great too) I usually use Google's Image Search, but that can take time-

Looks to me like a section of forest/woodland on another Plane of existence. The Outlands perhaps? Or maybe even, a fairly stable island on Limbo (looks odd enough).

The National Park Service websites have some great galleries, but it can take a bit of navigating to do, but certainly less time than Google image search.
