how would your halfling spend his 5000 gp?

Sooo... What would you buy with your halfling char for 5000gp if you know you're two levels lower than the rest of the party and you already got a nice armour (elven chainmail)?

The build is a sorcerer archer...

Possible would be an Amulet of Health (always more hitpoints), but would you rather buy a lot of smaller one shot items? If yes, which ones?

Maybe some specialty arrows, give the character kind of a “Green Arrow” feel. Magic ones, or even just non-magical gimmicky ones. I’ve never done this, but I think it is a cool idea for an archer.

I always go for permanent or multiuse over one shot unless I have a specific current need for a specific potion or scroll immediately.

Possibly defense, gloves of arrow deflection to ward off missile fire at the back rank. That leaves 1,000 gp for pints!

Do you have a magic bow?

Silver arrows?

Cold wrought iron arrows?

a handy haversack or bag of holding. i'm assuming your str ain't high.

I'd go for:

Mithril Buckler +1 (2155 gp)
Quiver of Ehlonna (1800 gp)
Cloak of Resistance +1 (1000 gp)
3 scrolls of mage hand (37.5 gp)

This way you take care of physical weakness, AC and Saving Throws.

Several Arrows of Sleep (132 gp each)
