I Tried this in Plots & Places but didn't get any attention so I'll try this here.
I'm starting a new campaign in Westgate where the PCs are Private Investigators. I have a lot of details planned out already about the people and places in the city but I want to start focussing on the more day to day details.
Like weather for example. Does anyone know what the weather cycle is here? (or the southern Dragon Coast in general). I want to make daily weather tables as I have one story line where a ghost only comes up during really bad rain storms. I also need to find out when (or even if) the snows come to Westgate. Does the port shut down at all?
Also, slightly off topic but has anyone developed the laws of Westgate? I know slavery is legal, but how is the treatment of slaves? can they be beaten in public? or are they well treated (in public at least) With the Night Masks ruling most of the city there would be a lot of corruption but how much of the laws are really enforced and what are the punishments?
Any help would be well... helpful.... and certainly appreciated.
