This was a bad episode. So much promise, no delivery.

Also, worst
car chase / shootout
I have ever seen. At the same time.

I've heard comments that Chance is turning into a boring invincible hero. I disagree. I think the bad guys are turning into bumbling fools. There were multiple times where they were practically at point blank range, and still weren't hitting anything.
And what exactly happened in that roadblock scene? Did everybody just decide to randomly shoot at nothing?

If there's no credible opposition, there's no tension, and nothing to be excited about.

This was the first episode this season that I've actually enjoyed, primarily due to the interplay between Chance and Baptiste. I'll take enjoyable dialogue over believable car chases any day.

I lost interest part way through the episode. This show just isn't doing it for me anymore. I dropped it from my DVR.

BTW, does anyone know how well the show is doing compared to last season's ratings?

I watched the whole episode, and it was all right, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the last one I saw. I'm not ready to give up on the show as a whole just yet.

I liked the episode, myself, but I worry about the character of Baptiste. Specifically, I'm afraid that they will eventually make him and Chance allies, or show that he's "where Chance was" a few years ago.

Uh-uh. No. Baptiste is a cold-blooded bastard, and he needs to stay that way. It's part of what makes the character work. I'd much rather see him as a recurring enemy that an ally. (Plus, despite Chance's own background, I'm not sure I see him ever forgiving the man who killed Katherine.)
