Humans and random numbers

Thanks all of you. :)

I read a report a while back that our brains usually pick either prime numbers or odd numbers when we have to generate random numbers. I wanted to know if this differed when you had a keyboard to look at.

Why I didn't write this in the first place was because the results would probably change if I told you. :)

What are your results so far? (I know my number didn't fit that description.)

Oh, and by "natural number" you just mean a whole number (not a fraction or anything with decimals) right? I'm not down with the mathematics.

When asked to think of a random number, my brain works like this:

1) Odd! 5!
2) Too centered! 1! 9!
3) Prime! 3! 7
4) Wait...that's what they want me to do!
5) Even! 8!
6) Center it! 4! 6!
7) Screw it all! 5!
8) Nah, just total the exclamation points: 14.

:D
