First Post
1. In a surprise round how many attacks would an 8 headed hydra get? assuming it moves more than 5'.

2. When a Pyrohydra's head breathes fire is breathing fire a free action?.

3. If slow is cast on a hydra does the creature, or each head need to make the save?.

1. The surprise round allows a partial action for each creature that is aware of their opponent. An 8 headed hydra would get 8 attacks, or a move, or a partial charge with 8 attacks.

2. Standard action.

3. The creature.

Well, assuming your in a building or complex the Hydra had to get in there somewhere, so he must have a way out. :D

Silly Crothian. Anyone who's bringing a hyrda into a building as a guardian is gonna do it while it's young and small. Eventually, it grows to large to leave through the doors, keeping your valuable castle/dungeon free from roaming hydra. :D

That's my next adventure. The party stumbles on a newly built labrynth where all the monbsters are young versions and not all the traps are properly installed yet. Of course, once they get through it all they'll realize that the treasure this place is to gaurd hasn't been placed here yet. :D
