Of course, that's just my analysis of the situation. I believe it's logical but I might be mistaken.

You may well be right Serpenteye. That was just an off the cufflist of things I might do to rebalence the playing field a bit.

I'm sure Edena has his own plan should he decide to pick up where he left off.

That's probably true, and I hope he does decide to pick it up again. I don't really mind being arbitrarily reduced in power for the sake of balance if Edena thinks that's necessary, though it seems that I am currently at war with an alliance of greater or equal to my own power. I do think that in the long run consistency and logic are very important to make the game a little less random and I think we need some rules for what is possible to do so that future nerfing of factions won't be necessary.
