I am filled with shame...

First Post
... I prefer Erfworld to Oots. I used to love Oots. Erfworld was that thing that got me through the delays. But now I find myself reading book one again. I like the world design. The drawings are very nice. The humor appeals to me.

And yet there are no regular Erfwold new comic updates. Am I alone? Drunk? Are there others who share my life choices?

I, too, have become an Erfworld fan. It's just so damn weird. If it is all a dream, it's one of the best representations of that idea, ever.

Alas, once it was no longer part of the OotS site, I stopped following it. :(

I think OoTS really has the ability to stand alone. Most individual strips work by themselves.

Erfworld becomes much better when you can sit down and read all of book 1 in one chunk.

Of the two, I still think I prefer OoTS more. Mostly because it's done a better job of telling me all the facts and details I need to know to enjoy the story (admittedly, there aren't that many).

Erfworld is still dangling plot threads and characters in front of me which have complicated backgrounds, which I won't discover for another 50 comics. It's also a completely alien world to basic fantasy, which has to be revealed piecemeal. This works in a novel, but doesn't seem to do as well in a webcomic format.

I still closely follow both of them, but if I had to choose one- I'd say OoTS. Just my two Shmuckers. :p

Edit: I more closely read the OP. You're aware of http://www.erfworld.com/, right?
