I'm going to try a 4d6 drop lowest, assigning after.

Edit: Final rolls are 6, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15. I think that'll be a 3.5 human utilicleric:
Str 11, Dex 8, Con 14, Int 12, Wis 15, Cha 6

I'm really glad my buddies threw a hugely geeky bachelor party for me a couple weeks ago, because it temporarily used up my geek drive. My wife and I had been talking about tossing d20s at the wedding: "I" *roll* "do!"

In retrospect I'm glad we didn't actually do that. :D

But I'm curious how I would have done on that roll...

My first character was a (AD&D) wizard - 3d6 rolled in order.
Let's see what my first EnWorld character would be:

edit: in 3E this would be a fine sorcerer, close enough to a wizard; in AD&D I'm not so sure (memory somewhat rusty): bard maybe?

I'm short of time right now, but it looks like the dice roller may be skewed somewhat. The above combined 32-result chi square test suggests there is a very good chance that it isn't producing expected distribution.

It's a very small test though.

Hopefully, someone can put it through more aggressive testing.

You rolled twice and got one exactly average result (16 x 2.5 = 40) and one below average result. That doesn't suggest anything at all. :)

Do that 100 times and get back to us!
