You rolled twice and got one exactly average result (16 x 2.5 = 40) and one below average result. That doesn't suggest anything at all.

Dice can be skewed and still end up with average results (rolling only 1 and 6 on a d6 for example).

Chi-square looks at the result frequency. Of the 32 results, 13 were 1, 10 were 3, 5 were 4, and 4 were 2.

Like I said it is a small (though decently sized for a chi square test) sample and it needs a more thorough look.

Trust me, they're not. You can't weight a computer unless you tell it to - and I haven't.

Like I said, if you want a decent tatistical sample, do what you did 100 times. Although I'm not sure I want people rolling 3200 dice in a post.

Actually, a lot of random library functions are poor and so some skewing or bias. c and c++ rand takes a lot of heat for its implementation.

Not very promising, although with DEX and END of 8 I get a +3 bonus to enlist in the Army.

Enlistment successful! now on to the survival roll. +2 DM for EDU >= 6

Still alive! That END of 8 also gets me a bonus on commission rolls.

Yay! I is an ossifer! Also a +1 on promotion (from education)

Another success. I is now a Captain! Now to roll for skills. I get four rolls. I'd do one on each table, but with an EDU of only 7, I don't qualify for the last. Oh well, two rolls on table 3.

So, Blade Combat-1, Tactics-1, Electronic-1, and +1 DEX.

So, let's see about re-enlisting.

Alas, one term and done. Still, got a commission and promotion. For Muster Out Benefits, I get one roll for one term, and one for rank. I'll take one on the cash table, and one on the benefits table.
