D&D General I built a free web tool to automate 5e prep (Visual Encounter Graph, Cursed Items, Shops). Looking for veteran feedback!

[Sunday Update] We hit #1! + The "Oracle" Engine is Live! đź”®

First off, a huge thank you to this community. Because of your testing and feedback, DM Co-Pilot officially hit #1 on the global AI charts this week!

To celebrate (and to handle the massive 2,700+ user traffic spike), I just pushed a major backend overhaul: The Oracle Engine. >

  • Instant Lore Memory: I’ve integrated a global semantic cache. If you generate a common monster or lore prompt, the app now bypasses the "AI thinking" phase and serves the result instantly. Zero lag for your live sessions.
  • Knowledge Graph Stability: Fixed the rendering bug on the Lore Web—it’s now fully interactive and draggable for mapping out faction relationships.
Jump in and let me know if the "Instant" generations feel as snappy as they should!

Update: 4,369 Runs & v4.0 Roadmap (VTT Export Incoming!)

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick update and a massive THANK YOU for the feedback.

We just hit a huge milestone: 4,369 automated generations handled by the tool! Because of your testing, DM Co-Pilot is currently the #1 ranked AI app on Viberank.

What’s next? I heard you loud and clear on integration. v4.0 is officially in development, and the headliner feature is the VTT Webhook Hub. You'll soon be able to "blast" any monster or NPC you forge directly into Foundry VTT or Roll20 with one click.

Stay tuned, and keep the critiques coming! ⚔️

Update: #1 on Viberank & 4,369 Generations! (v4.0 Bridge Incoming)

Quick update for the veterans here: Because of your constant testing and feedback, DM Co-Pilot just hit the #1 spot on the global Viberank charts for AI apps!

We just crossed 4,369 automated generations. To keep up with the demand, I've implemented "The Oracle"—a Redis-backed caching engine to ensure the tool stays fast during your live Sunday sessions.

Next up for v4.0: Direct VTT Webhooks. No more downloading files; just one click to blast your forged lore directly into Foundry or Roll20. Thanks for being the best QA team an indie dev could ask for! ⚔️

[Update v3.4] The VTT Bridge is officially functional! 🔌✨

Massive thank you to everyone here for the feedback on the previous builds. You asked for a way to move data into your games without the "JSON shuffle," and I’ve delivered.

What's new in v3.4:

  • Direct VTT REST API Bridge: Inside the Audio Scribe, you can now enter your Foundry VTT or Roll20 API URL and "Blast" your session journals directly into your live server. 🚀
  • UI Stabilization: I’ve implemented "Component Airlocking." The bugs where microphones or buttons would "ghost" onto other pages have been completely eliminated.
  • Performance: We’ve hit #3 on the global AI charts this month thanks to you guys! I’ve optimized the backend to handle the 4,000+ generations we've clocked so far.
Give the VTT blast a spin in your next session and let me know how the handshake feels!

Update: Real-Time Rules Lawyer is now Agent-Powered (v4.0)

I just pushed a major backend update to DM Co-Pilot. The Rules Lawyer tool now runs on a two-agent "Researcher/Auditor" loop. One agent is restricted to only pulling raw 5e SRD mechanics, while a second high-reasoning agent audits those facts against your specific table dispute.

It effectively eliminates the "creative guessing" AI usually does, providing a legalistic ruling DMs can actually rely on mid-session.

[Update v4.1] The Fate-Threader Combat Simulator is LIVE (and we hit #1!) 🏆

First of all, I am completely blown away. Because of the insane amount of stress-testing and feedback from this specific thread, DM Co-Pilot just hit #1 on the global Viberank charts for AI Apps! I literally could not have done this without you guys breaking my code all weekend.

To celebrate, I spent the entire night building the most requested feature: The Fate-Threader (v4.1).

If you are ever worried about accidentally TPK'ing your party with a homebrew boss, you can now input your party size, average HP, and the monster's expected Damage Per Round. The app instantly runs 1,000 parallel Monte Carlo simulations in the background and spits out a TPK Probability % and a Survival Rating (Safe, Dangerous, or TPK Likely).

I just finished doing some midnight code surgery to make sure it runs with zero latency directly in your browser. Give it a shot before your next boss fight: dm-copilot-cloud.onrender.com

I'm officially signing off and crashing for the night. Keep the feedback coming, and I'll check the server logs in the morning! 🌙🎲
