I can't type anything into my message field!

It's really strange, but when I put my cursor in the field to type in a post, I can't do anything to it! I can paste once (this is how I am managing to get this message in there in the first place), but I can't type anything in, cut (it still copies but doesn't remove), backspace, use SHIFT + arrow keys to select text, or otherwise do things that make posting text actually work. I can hit a tag button and type the stuff in there, or click on a smilie. Is this a known bug that can be fixed, or am I just "lucky"?

The same thing happens with sending emails via the forum, as well. That's actually how I first encountered the problem.

Does it only happen on ENWorld? What kind of browser are you using?

I sometimes have a similar problem with Firefox, but a few random characters in Notepad, and the problem is gone. From the sound of it, that doesn't work for you, though.

Strange thing is, after the problem had persisted for nearly an hour, it went away immediately after I asked about it. :\

It only happened in the message body field on EN World. Everything else was fine. I use Safari on OS X (specifically, 10.4.2).

Whatever it was, I'll let you know if it happens again.
