i didn't propose *at* the Red Lobster, but i told her we could go to any restaurant she wanted, and that's what she picked. after dinner we went to sit by lake michigan and then i brought out the ring.

That was the restraunt she picked too. She almost wouldn't go out, and she was pretty tired from the weekend up until then, so it seemed appropriate. I might have liked to have done a little more, but even the conversation was perfect for it.
