I feel silly. I'm letting physics get in the way of fun.

I want a death trap that uses electricity and water. And so I start researching electrocution and such, and I realize it doesn't work like in the movies. And I feel guilty.

But it'd be a cool scene.

What do I do?

Has everything prior to this adhered completely to the laws of physics and real life? If the answer is no, you are fine. If the answer is yes, choose a different medium that functions as a conductor.

It's liquid electricity? It's uber salty* or magically hyper conductive water which predisposes the victims to be electrocuted? A wizard did it?

(*not too salty or the electricity is conducted through the water and doesn't enter the body)

It's a trap...it works that way, because it is built to work that way.

All you need is 3 seconds, how long it takes for electricity to interrupt the heart, this can be built into the save.
