Well, it depends on what those beliefs are. If I met someone who didn't believe in, say, gravity, I'd call him insane. That's a habit of the intelligent/gamers: they tend to be poor spellers, as a group. Most of my gaming friends can't spell their way past a third grade test, but throw a quadratic equation (sp?) at them, and they are golden.
