I have a 2nd Level Wood Elf Ranger....

Why not bard? No ASF in light armour you get things other then just spells so if you only take a few levels you'll still have some cool stuff.

Am not sure going sorcerer (for any length of time) is tactically a good choice for you to go, given that you already have low HP, and a weak Cha score too.

There are some nice elven gods besides Corellon inthe FR setting ( If that is permissable or your game world) which might turn interesting clerical aspects, besides the classical "medic". But if you want to stay away from cleric-ing, that is role-playing choice to be respected.

You might consider going druid though - given your established focus on nature, who can heal, but, due to being unable to cast cure "spontaenously" is not usually burdened with the job of healing machine. As for variance in roleplaying druids - don't get me started, hehe. And the druidic spell selection fits in pretty nice with a focus on combat, too.

I would propose bard or spellsinger (Kalamar PG). Both can cast in armour and you can qualify for Eldritch Knight later.

Take Improved Toughness at level 3!

Nope Cleric is it. We are actually in Greyhawk so Corellon is it. I was initially not going the cleric route but my DM convinced me otherwise. I was thinking druid too but because of alignment issues i couldn't pick it (I'm CG) Overall i'm happy with how he coming along. I just hope he survives to cast his 1st spell
