To be fair, I think your original point is true. California is probably its own distinct region! I certainly wouldn'ty lump california in with AZ, NM, OK, TX ... however Nevada may be closer to CA than the other Southwest.

How do you figure? Both AZ and Nevada share a state border with CA.

Not me! I've stayed away from our sausage at work. For some reason, whatever they put in Bojangles brand sausage raises my blood pressure and gives me increased risk of nosebleeds. I used to suffer thru those when I was about 14. Hated them.
