I have a Battlecat

I recall my little brother having one and several of the figures. I cannot confirm or deny that they lost the fight between Masters of the Universe and the world of GI Joe- which involved BB guns and had several casualties on both sides of the conflict.

It was tweaked a bit to connect to an existing Action Man IP, and branded as Action Force in the UK. There were a few generations of the toys, getting closer to and incorporating more of GI Joe directly over time and apparently once Hasbro got full control of the line from Palitoy in 1985.

Thats why I love being in the colonies - we got to have both GI Joe and Action Man the greatest hero of them all.

I dont recall us having Safari Jim, but we did have Mighty Orbots (anyone still have those figures?)

Never really got into He-man figures (although I did watch most of the original cartoon). I didn't own a Battlecat figure, but I do recall one did briefly live at my house for a while...
(I think it probably belonged to my friend Sal, whose parents had more money than we did and who was prone to leaving his toys at my house and forgetting about them. I ended up with a lot of the Star Wars playsets that way...)

I do have a couple of the old lead He-man figures put out by Grenadier that I got off eBay.

Currently, the only toys I still have from my childhood are a pair of 1970's Sesame Street Weeble-Wobbles (Bert and Oscar the Grouch). When I was in my late twenties, my father discovered them buried in the back yard, lol.

When I was younger, I couldn't afford the old Dungeons & Dragons action figures (and pvc monsters), but over the past fifteen years or so I've managed to acquire a good chunk of the entire line.
