I am playing a Neutral Good Fighter who lives for the good fight. He is currently with a party that is trying to save the world, we are "led" by a paladin.
Last game, while searching for the entrance to a dungeon that is at the bottom of a lake we ran into a Blue Dragon. We made little progress in attacking the Dragon between him flying and swimming. But when it opportunity presented itself I launched myself at the dragon and did quite a bit of damage. Unfortunately, the dragon then dropped me on the next round to 0 hp. I feined death, but the dragon was not fooled. The Dragon scooped me up flew high above the lake, said he wanted to negotiate with the paladin (who was currently indisposed having been teleported to the other side of the door) and flew off with me.
Now, at 0 hp my options are extremely limited. I know that the paladin will never negotiate with an evil dragon, so there is no hope in that route. My best option now appears to be to try and arrange to be killed in such a way that my party can retrieve my body and have me raised (I see this as a perfectly good solution) but I am unsure how to arrange for such a thing.
Any ideas on how to set this up? Or is there another way out that I am just to blind to see? My character is rather intelligent but not very wise.
Thanks,
Emerald
