I have no book and I must buy!

Ooh! I forgot about that!

Amazon: Usually ships within 1 to 2 months
BAMM: our search database is not available at the moment :(
It's in the warehouse now so I suspect that Amazon and other gaming stores should be getting it within the next week or two.

Cool. I hope you are getting some use out of it! (Dealing with 3.5 upgrades was a bit of a hurdle for me.)

Yeah, that is a hurdle. I have found a lot of game material that's edition independant, and it's certainly a mine for ideas - espcially in the campaign rule/world rule section. Though, honestly, it's been more of campaign planning and writing tool than something I've used "at the table," so far.

Still thinking about a book to put you over the free shipping limit...

Never, we'll find something for you

Oh, unless someone comes up with something more enticing that will be available sooner (Arms & Armor isn't even on the RPGshop list...), it's probably gonna be Libris Mortis. I just had to be reminded it was coming out this month.

Err... how about just grabbing some non-RPG books, DVDs, or video games? I don't know how many times I've ordered a $20 RPG book, and then added a paperback novel to get free shipping.

Non-d20, but worth recommending: 'Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell' It's a novel about a mythical England where magic was once practiced, but now only studied. And it reads like a much more interesting 'Pride and Prejudice' (it is set in the same period, at least as far as I have read). It's a huge hardcover, and Amazon has it for $16.

No way. I need a second hard copy of BCD. :)

But seriously Psion, finish up your SL collection. Get all the Player's Guides, both Vigil Watch books AND probably get Blood Sea: Crimson Abyss along with Edge.

(Trust me Psion. You'll find Edge fits in well with BCD.)

I also like Frostburn.

OTOH, since you're not sure you'll be able to use it right away, and if past WotC books are any indication, you might just wait a few months & see if it shows up at 60% off.

Speaking of Feng Shui, I hear Blowing Up Hong Kong is actually out -- less than a decade late! ;) -- and Amazon.com has it. Alas, "ships in 1 to 2 weeks."

I didn't realise this was such a long-awaited product. I managed to buy it in London last week -- it's set in 2005 and will be very useful for when I eventually run the game, particularly since once of the players lived in Hong Kong for a while and I know very little about the city!

Finding a book that Psion doesn't have and actually wants has now become a full-on challenge... He can't give up now by waiting for the Book of Bad Latin.

Cheers
