I have no style or panache... need some help delivering a flamboyant line.

First Post
I'm running a game this weekend in Waterdeep (a massive city in Forgotten Realms), and I need a good line for one of my encounters. As one of the PC's is making his way through the city, from a rooftop a swirl of fabric and leather will drop down with sword hand. With a grin, she'll ask for the PC's money, rob him, blow him a kiss, and make her escape.
I can't think of a good "gimmy all your money" line. Anyway... any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

"If you please, gentlemen, I'd be delighted to relieve you of your money this fine evening."

I dunno. I usually do better on the spur of the moment with things like that.

Smile wickedly, arch an eyebrow ...

and pass gas. Loudly.

Never break your grin, though. Salute smartly with your sword and escape into the night.

Flatulence with finesse -- slays 'em every time.

will the lady get surprise or are you gonna roll spot/listen checks to see if they notice/hear their attacker?

if someone jumped down on my party she'd be riddled with arrows and magic before she hit the ground and had a chance to say anything. ;)

if she wins init or gets surprise try:

"Thank you all for holding onto my items. I have come to collect them now. Please be so kind as to deposit them (points to a spot) there."

P.S. some gamers would consider this a railroad if you let the lady have surprise without rolling.

others will be more willing to go along with it for story based reasons.

"Do you know, there's a fee for walking around this neighborhood so encumbered by wealth. I happen to be empowered to collect, if you'll be so good as to cooperate without fussing. Thank you so much."

N.B. Of course, if you're playing with the gang from "The Gamers" (or players with similar sensibilities), she'll be dead before the word "fee." But I trust that, since you're asking, this isn't the case. :)

Oh, the lady getting surprise without rolling isn't really an issue. Unless you're of the right class, it's likely your Spot/Listen checks will be crap, so assuming the thief has good Hide/Move Silently and takes 10, she could automatically get the drop on the PC. What's more dubious is assuming she manages to rob the PC and get away.

she too will need a good spot/listen check to find her marks. i mean out of all the people to rob in all of waterdeep she just happens to pick the PCs...
