I have the Draconomicon!

I got the book too.

Pretty good, a lot of maybe useless detail but a lot of good game stuff as well.

But why are the dragon deities so damned weak? Io is an INTERMEDIATE god???????

Perhaps dragons, being so infatuated with their own personal power and magnificence, just aren't very religious.

Hee.

From what I know from older versions, I would have made IO one of those uber gods that can't be given real stats... although unlike most of the other uber gods, this one is well known by others (instead of just generaly being known by the normal gods).

I hope He's at least the most powerful god in the pantheon.

How would you rate the usefulness of the section on dragons being involved with the party, or even as PC's. Are these sections actually helpful and providing good solutions or more just a don't do it kind of thing or best left to epic et c.

BTW, I'm ordering Draconomicon via Amazon today (Saturday) ANyone who wants to receive a share the love discount from me please send me an email or a pm (with your email, of course). You'll get a 10% discount.

Got the Draconomicon last night, and I'm pretty impressed. It's a hefty book.

One nice bonus? The "hoard generator" has some great charts for creating non-magical treasure items.

Helped unpack them at the FLGS

Looked through

Went **eh**

Not useful for any of my campaigns, but probably good for other folks.

Mine left the internetstory yesterday morning (of yourse, I bought the Draconomicon at Dragonworld ;-)) and will arrive here at tuesday, maybe monday even. So time left to pester you with questions.

I'd like to know whether the book features any sample dragons, with complete spell list, hoard, and lair. And are there tactics for dragons? Do they make B.A.D.D. boys proud?
