A guy did that in the old Robotech campaign I played in many years ago. The veteran characters were pretty close and liked messing with each other, and one of the players brought in a new guy.
The guy's new character was named Francis (not a good start) and thought it would be funny to take some pictures of another character, Bulldog, who went for a swim in his flightsuit because he forgot to tell the GM he was changing into his swim trunks before jumping into the pool.
So Bulldog gets out, sopping wet, and walks over to Francis, grabs the camera, and crushes it in his fist (in Robotech a 24 Strength meant you could bench press minivans.) This really pissed off Francis, who dropped to his knees and pummeled Bulldog with a flurry of jabs to his genitals, sending him into a coma (goofy critical strike tables).
As Commanding Officer, I show up and berate Francis, then pick up Bulldog and start carrrying him to the infirmary when all of a sudden Francis pulls a Desert Eagle out of the front of his speedo and tells me that if Bulldog is allowed to heal, he'll just come after Francis.
I say, "Do what you gotta do, I'm taking him to the doctor," and Francis wisely returns his massive handgun to its prior location.
In the end Bulldog recovered, Francis was Court Martialed and demoted, and I was promoted to 1st Lieutenant.
