I Just Pre-Ordered the 4.5 Red Box...

I pre-ordered the 4.5 red box from Chapters yesterday and I'm so exited about it!
I know there is quite a bit of controversy about it but 4.5 was necessary for several reasons. 4e has so many rules updates my core rulebooks need to be updated beforehand for me to even use them, V-shaped classes are banned in some of the games I play (but not DM), and whenever I use something that didn't come out recently I need to basically redo all the math.
4.5 fixes all of this, now when I use a red dragon I don't have to recalculate attack rolls, defenses, hit points, and damage rolls as well as making a stat-block in the new format and when I make a character I can use classic classes such as paladins without worrying about it's V-shaped design.
YAY!

Although I would hesitate to call it 4.5, I am also excited about the evolution of the game.

As a side note, did any other Canadians notice that this doesn't seem be on Amazon.ca. I also noticed the Master Set Dungeon Tiles were not showing up. Seems odd to have most other D&D stuff, but not specific items.

Edit: Also I think its out as of today, so you shouldn't have needed to pre-order.

Yeah, I wouldn't call it 4.5e - but that's another topic.

I'm only saying that I've pre-ordered two of'em, one for myself (hopefully to be perused soon, once I moved/found new group etc.) and one as present for my sister (apparently, playing RPGs is something genetic or so! )

Stoked for it, can't wait for the unboxing!

This is the same with Amazon Japan. For some reason, some things are available and some are not. Monster Vault, the Dungeon Tiles Master sets and some other things are not there, and when I emailed them, I got an email saying they are not selling them.

Whatever. I'm going to enjoy purchasing several Essentials products and using them with my existing 4th Edition products with no problems. I'm interested in the new options and a good gateway product to sucker in friends.
