D&D General I lack knowledge of LN and CN monsters

A little puzzle for smart people

How would you place those basic professions relatively to alignment ?

Athlete
Brute
Hunter
Ruler
Teacher.
Craftsman
Herbalist
.judge ( was called inspector ).
Jeweller
The idea here is to mix two basic professions and generate one profession of level 2
Hint you need two basic professions to get proficiency in this speciality of level 2

The same applies to specialities of any level:
Speciality of level 4 requires four basic professions of level 4;
If you have five basic professions of level 4,
Then you will have ( with a little maths ) three
Specialities of level 4

A Lawful-neutral person is someone who thinks that law, order, tradition, etc. are the most important things in life, and the only things worth fighting for and protecting. They aren't motivated by much else. Being kind, being compassionate, and being well-liked are afterthoughts to a Lawful-neutral person because those are Good traits.

A Chaotic neutral person is someone who thinks that anarchy, chaos, unpredictability, etc. are the most important things in life, and the only things worth fighting for and protecting. Being kind (or cruel), compassionate (or heartless), and being well-liked (or hated) are afterthoughts to a Chaotic-neutral person because those are Good (or Evil) traits.

To me , CN are Brutes
Let's say NG are rulers
TN are herbalists
CG are athletes-Champions
LG are teachers
LE are judges
LN are craftsmen
NE are hunters
CE are jewellers ( thanks to Karim )

It's important to remember that neutral characters (whether lawful or chaotic) still have a normal respect for sentient life. Neutral characters aren't good because they aren't generally willing to make significant sacrifices to help others they aren't personally connected to (which a good character would be inclined to do). But if a character is totally cool with murder to get what they want, they are evil.

(This can get a little blurred with completely alien creatures who may have no malicious intent but simply have no understanding of the concept of "respect for life", and such.)

I play/read CN as a true opportunist who takes advantage of a frequently chaotic world. CN characters always come off "cooler" than other alignments because they aren't penned in by allegiances or alliances. They're kind of the "cats" of the realms. CG purr in your lap. CE topple everything off the table.

LN are the boring lot who serve the status quo even if they don't see it. LG serve the status quo and see it as righteous. LE serve the status quo but see its purpose as heretical. LN are administrators with side gigs.

For me, the Neutral alignments start the least interesting, and usually every new player really is ether NG or true N. Then when stuff happens, they gravitate to one pole or the other, but usually CN because they've been betrayed and either see the fun in reveling in the chaos or no longer trust the world.

TLDR: CN is the reluctant anti-hero, and almost everyone wants to be that eventually.
