I made my wife tear up her character sheet. Ph33r me.

There was no dream. After the vorpalling, they woke up as disembodied heads. The undead guy who'd decapitated them knew that they'd somehow escaped from the prison nobody ever escapes from, and that they'd returned with the heir to the throne the undead guy knew he'd killed 200 years ago, so he needed to use their souls in a little time-travelling investigation.

Much easier to do that if said souls don't have bodies to walk around and cause problems.

You mean Torillan isn't really an AT-AT?? I'm disappointed. :(

Oh well, serves me right for actually using a picture of myself for an avatar. :p

Heh heh!! Honestly, I have no idea where that came from. Last I checked, I didn't choose an avatar. Hmmm......gremlins at EN World?

Ah, reminds me of the good ol' days in Ravenloft (a la the Grand Conjunction).

edit: Duh! Read earlier posts in thread, Ruined...

As fas as I know, ArthurQ thinks everyone is a girl, as long as the opposite is not proven.

He just needs stalking victims. ;)

Berandor
looks exactly like his avatar

Wow. Just, wow. One hell of a (cruel & unusual) plot hook. Either that, or you really know how to salvage a session when the players poke around where they are not supposed to.

Who, me? Heck, I didn't have ANYTHING planned for the guy's tomb -- just a generic dungeon map I always carry around in my folder and vague memories of running the original Tomb of Horrors...

:D

By the way, that sound you hear is me ripping this idea (or one like it) off.

My players' epic PCs could use a lesson in humility. ;)
