I may have to kill them all (My players out!)

I'm with Wulf. Unless your players are really bad at thinking tactically, this can go much better for them than you think.

Anything a 6th lvl wizard summoner can come up with will be taken apart instantly by a 6th lvl fighter and barbarian. Considering how close he'd have to be to summon creatures near them (range = 40 ft for a Wiz6), there's also a fair chance they'll get lucky and pinpoint his location (listen check DC 24 to pinpoint someone casting at 40 ft distance).

The 7th lvl druid can summon a juvenile arrowhawk, 1d3 giant owls/eagles or 1d4+1 dire bats to keep them busy with one Summon Nature's Ally 4. Not to mention a nice Flame Strike or Ice Storm when they're visible, which will probably take a chunk out of a 6th lvl character.

Also, how are they flying? If it's through a spell then a well-timed dispel magic can end the fight right there.

And flying in there for a greatsword attack is an incredibly bad tactic.

In short, it's tough, but it's not that bad.

What is the level of agreement on this?
EL 8 or 9 - if the druid stays in it long enough, I don't think anyone will bite it. I assume all of the fighter types have some kind of semi-decent missile weapons, and certainly the ranger would. You can pretty easily ready an attack to disrupt a flying spellcaster, and the PCs will be able to take advantage of cover a lot more effectively than a flying target can.
