On Sunday, my players are going to be venturing to Kyoto (circa 688 AD), and I need to get together a city for them to explore. I'm looking for something along the lines of the old Greyhawk folio, with info on locations, power groups, people, etc. Preferably in a PDF, so I can download it and start reading ASAP.
Also, if anybody out there is a scholar of medieval Japan, I'm looking for info on what Kyoto was like during the 7th century. My game is semi-historical, so any nuggets I can throw in there would be awesome.
