I need an Elf Rapier Mini!

I just found a half-elf Bard with a basket-hilted blade and an almost shovel-shaped instrument upon his back. Unfortunately, its one of those plastic based minis without any data on the mounting blade. Just looking at it, though, it has to be of recent manufacture, which means its probably a Reaper.

That's a WotC D&D Iconic Devis the 1/2 Elf bard and due to a bad paint job and a REALLY ugly face on the mini that is "unacceptable". It's used for the character now.

Well, if you're into conversions, you could take a Bespin Guard, replace his blaster with a rapier, and replace the head. Then paint the pants and shirt.

According to Reaper's Figfinder, they don't have any good Rapier wielding minis.

You might also want to check out any 7th Sea miniatures. They have lots of swashbucklers.

Magnificent Egos (via Paizo) have a nice swashbuckling guy. Not elf though. Check in the Uncommon Characters section

Paizo has an elf noble that might work

I can look for more if you need me to. I'm not as familiar with the DDM options, but have a pretty good handle on the metal mini companies.

Reaper has a lot of elves but few of them have weapons that resemble a rapier.

This one is a close approximation.

For weapons it is much easier to find a miniature that matches the pose you want and then modify the weapon. At least it is much easier than modifying a head from race X to elf...

It'd be a pretty simple conversion, too. Just remove the head and replace.
