I Need Ideas!!!

U talking about the campaign we're runnin now? If so, i'd suggest going with a fighter that uses a spiked chain because he feels it doesn't get enough....... oh, wait, that's me. Well, u could use a fighter that fights with 2 bladed gauntlets......no, that's someone else in our group. OOOH! I know, u could play a ranger that hates drow because they killed his village and kidnapped....... that's ur old character. well, i'm out of ideas.

Here's some ideas.

How about a Barbarian who favors wrestling as his fighting style. (Improved Unarmed, and pick up feats like improved trip and knockdown, disarm, etc.)

If your group uses the Psionic's Handbook a Psychic warrior that uses unarmed combat would be interesting (lots of claw powers)

Another interesting idea with the Psychic warrior is a one focused on the charge....specifically the leaping charge.

I don't know your feelings on halflings but a halfling rogue/cleric would be interesting. The rogue levels really help that lagging reflex save and give you access to the Use Magic Device skill which you could take and use for arcane scrolls and wands. (Who says we need a Wizard...heh.) Even without the UMD skill you can use those potent skill points to round out some of the other aspects of the character, since clerics just don't get enough skill points.

Anyway there are some of the ideas kicking around in my head. Hope they help some.

OOZEMASTER! :)

well i love the spellsword. go paladin and sorceror to qualify. that would really kick butt. i've never done that, that's my next character.

A halfling paladin.
(High dex, and cha, 13 STR).

Specialize in thrown daggers.
(halfling thrown bonus, high dex)

When you get a mount, get an ostrich.

Wear leather (or like) armor, keep your hide skill maxed.

Magic items would include daggers of returning.

Feats would require quick draw to keep the daggers going.

Plus your saves would be amazing.

A straight fighter or fighter/rogue that specializes in whips. (only backup weapon is a dagger).

No other explanation necessary.

All right Draxus - here are several:

Albino Moon Elf Psion - uses Psychportation powers - very snobby, and loves to travel.

Half-orc wizard (with ONE level of barbarian) who acts very effeminately, but who flies into a blind rage when someone causes his clothing to become soiled?

Human Bard who is a diplomat - all his powers come from dramatic speeches and rousing inspirations, and who is a master diplomat. (Remember, a a bard needs is his voice - he does not need to "sing" per se, so poetry and speeches would work as well).

Level 4 Aasimar Paladin. The proverbial every-inch-the-shing-knight.

Better yet - Level 4 Tiefling Paladin. Tries to escape his heritage.

That idea is crazy like a fox, apsuman.

This is the most against type char I can come up with.

A sorcerer with an 18 con (for HP) that takes armor and shield feats. Increase CON, or get items that will increase it for you, consider a toad familiar.

At level 3 take still spell and cast all spells with somatic components stilled to avoid the armor check penalties.

Weapons would include a spear, dagger and crossbow.

I would suggest the spells jump, and true strike (no somatic)

With the HP you can stand on the front line for a little while.

A wizard with an int of 13. (its a curse)

After his spells cap, he starts metamagicing spells into those level 4 and beyond slots.

Makes his living selling those scrolls of level 1,2, and 3.

After some quest his curse is lifted and he has an int of 19.
