Echohawk, you are the MAN (or woman, depending; never can tell on the internet). Choke mold is very intriguing. Cerebral mold is, hm. I don't care for ability damage, but it does have potential.
I have Monstrous Compendium Annual Vol 1 and 3, but not 2. No need to copy alot of text, but I'm just curious what Gray mold does (and the last of my questoins, promise).
Now I'm left pondering how to do these things in 4e. Choke mold is possible; there's suffocation rules (that take forever to kill you; it would have to be part of a trap). Yellow and Ruset mold though is much more challenging due to the "Save or die" aspect.
I know I said I wasn't going to talk about fungus, but I am still thinking about those GIANT fungal fields. Implementing one like the X-Files episode of the Fungal cave that secreted hallucinogenic spores, keeping prey docile while it digested them.
