I need some shades

I would think that what I am looking for exists in a book somewhere, if not this might belong in house rules. Anyway, I was looking for a way to counter the light sensitivity that some races have and I thought about buying or making tinted goggles. I don't see goggles listed in the PHB but I have been looking at mundane items I could use to make some. Of course the DM could insist that would require crafting and I don't want to waste skill slots. Are there tinted goggles in any of the books so I can get a base price. And if not, does anyone have an idea of how I could make some of my own. I am thinking straps of leather and glass of the right tint. I would think goggles, crafted or otherwise, would be expensive however. Just look at the spyglass.

Lenses of Darkness (Complete Arcane, p. 149)
Goggles of Day (Libris Mortis, p. 78)

Neither do specifically what you're asking for, but both could be house ruled to be effective.

Quite a few of the monsters in d20 Modern and Urban Arcana are listed as having shades, with the note that it counters their light sensetivity. I'd price them at 200 gp; twice the price of a magnifying glass, IIRC
.

I believe there's an item or two in the Arms & Equipment Guide that does what you want.

Also, in the Player's Guide to Faerun (as well as other books, I'm sure) there's a feat called Daylight Adaptation that gets rid of the penalty for being in daylight.
