D&D 5E I need your imagination - Rise of Tiamat spoilers

Hi all. This is the thing:
I'm running RoT and we are about to finish the campaign. Before the last chapter the players only need to complete the thay mission, the last cult's attack and the new frozen castle expansion (they crashed the castle). I know Tiamat could be letal and I don't want to change her stats (my players will not forgive me if I do that). Instead, since is a pretty epic campaign, I've been working on some kind of boons for them and I need your help with ideas for that. Here is the party:

- human wizard (1 sorcerer lvl): he pick sorcerer because of the draconic bloodline. He has the background about the reincarnated gold dragon from HotDQ. Since the party don't have a cleric and somehow they really managed to survive I "gave" them a cleric NPC, she is adept to bahamut, so in a way she ended following the wizard. Also he had a flashback in which he learned dragons can make a "final sacrifice" long story short: he was promised to be turned again into a dragon, but killing enough of his own vitality he can resurrect some allies, he doesn't know that he will lose the energy to mantain a dragon life but enough to mantain a human body. That is my last resort if everybody fall in the last battle.

- half orc ranger: he is a dragon hunter, he uses his bow to kill everything. He claimed the intelligent and evil sword. He doesn't know the sword is linking him to gruumsh. He killed many elves and I came out with the idea. Anytime he is in front of a moment when the sword could try to connect him to gruumsh I call for a wis save. When he got enough success or failures he will receive a kind of a boon. So far he is losing against that, I talked to him in private and he would love to see how his character change with the history, so I can go on with this: I was planning in having a pro and a con: he would be able to use rage and maybe he can't flank with the elf (or any elf) and can't help him in any way without a wis save. I want to know what do you think about this and what could he achieve is he success against the influence of the sword.

-human fighter: he has really low cha, wis and int, he is quick to anger and somehow he roleplayed so well he could gain the love of some ladies. His parents were killed be the cult and after the revenge and many months of adventure he realised his father asked the Dragons for help before getting killed. The lady who gained his heart was an elven woman who gave him a corellon medallion. He doesn't know but I was thinking in giving him a boon with that since he is the thank I was thinking in using that to protect him or give him hps in the last battle. Like when he is about to die the medallion start brightening and heal him or something. What do you think? How would you make that work?

-elf monk (with a few druid lvls): this is where I need more help. He is a monk following his dreams about world destruction. But he was so concentrated in his mission that he didn't make any connection. Maybe I can make out something for him in the next sessions but I need ideas with this, especially because in he is an elf and can't have the dream in thay. He has the archetype that controls elements. I really can't think in something for him.

They managed to get really well in the scorecard, they won the favor of the Arcane brotherhood and everybody in the council (they don't know yet). Even the Dragon's help.
I used the idea of the deal with the bone devil and they are willing to help giving him info about the red wizard.
Overall what do you think about this? They, in a way, played and roleplayed so well that they earned those boons. But I need some help to close the ideas.
Thanks for reading and for your time.

How about having it grant him temporary HPs? It could have the effect of, say, the Bear's Endurance spell, triggered when he gets below half (or one-third?) his normal HPs. You could even give it multiple charges if you don't think 2d6 would be enough.

Have you ever thought about where his dreams might be coming from? Maybe they were sent by a god to make sure that the plan to summon Tiamat is foiled. That god might grant a boon of some sort. The appropriate type would depend on which god you choose.

I hope this helps!

Sorry, could you clarify a bit what it is exactly your asking for help on? I am not familiar with the adventure but I'd be down to offer some plot advice, but it sounds like you are trying to figure out boons to provide that work with their story lines, right? Technically speaking you don't get boons till after 20th, and I think the RoT adventure only goes to 15th or so, but that isn't a real barrier for DM with hands to wave now is it?

Are you giving them boons that need to be used and useful in the final fight or is it mostly just plot stuff, or both?

Sorry if I wasn't clear (English is not my first language). There are some specific questions in the text.
Since I know Tiamat could be lethal im giving them "special abilities" (that is better that using the word "boon").
I need ideas for those abilities both for the final battle and which are coherent with their history and background (that's why I tell each history there).

Have it grant him X additional uses of second wind. Then, at the end of the battle, it's light fades forever (single use item).

I think I'll work with that. Thank you.

That could work, since he don't follow Corellon but borrowed (without knowing) his favor. Thank you.

One of the big issues with Tiamat is that she's immune to low level magic, making casters severely limited in their ability to contribute.

I'd suggest that while the wizard's boon is active (i.e., before raising the party, if necessary) it provides enough "oomph" to punch through Tiamat's spell immunity.

If the Players do stuff in the Adventure right they won't ever have to fight Tiamat. If she is summoned they can also do several things that weaken her enough to be beatable. You don't have to give them boons and stuf.
