I really need help with a riddle...

"You claim you know me inside and out, but I'm not like a radar in that sense" doesn't make a great deal of sense on the face of it, since RADAR doesn't generally let you see inside things particularly well.

However, "I'm not like a radar in that sense" could be hinting that there is a different sense involved. SONAR, or X-Ray vision, perhaps.

"Who I am is the key, what I am is the answer" suggests a dual or hidden identity. Once you discover their true identity, you'll know their nature.

If this were a superheroes game, I'd be thinking it was a superhero or supervillain providing some veiled clue as to his true identity.

radar is a palindrome. I think the "not like a radar" is simply saying the answer is NOT a palindrome. Anything deeper may be a distraction. Or not.

"You say you know me inside and out, but I'm not like a radar in that sense. Who I am is the key, what I am is the answer."

I think it could be "eye".

I think in saying "it's not like radar in that sense" it is implying it is like radar in another sense, ie: It is a palindrome and it is another sense. "Who I am, and What I am" I spoken could also be written as "eye".

Perhaps based on a misunderstand of how radar works?

Love to know what the actual answer is.
