I think I'm done.... at least, until 3.5 comes out.

We where just about to start a new campaign when I realized that 3.5 was almost upon us. So. Instead of make our characters and then remake them when 3.5 comes out, my group has decided to take a break for a while.

Well, at least they'll get a break. In the mean time, I'll be putting together a game for 1st level characters instead of the 7th level game we where planning.

Just wondering if anyone else was doing something similar.

I started my 3E campaign a couple of months before the PHB was released, thanks to the former incarnation of this site.

My co-DM and I are attempting to get everything in the campaign settled before 3.5 is published.

Then we'll be starting a new campaign. (After a short break).

I'm currently running a 3.0 game, and said that when 3.5 comes out, I'll include some things as house rules, and not include some others. But if players want something in, then we'll discuss it. It'll most likely be a slow process of "Ok, we'll include this rule this week" and a session or 2 down the road "Ok, now I'm adding this"

Charecters will be adjusted accordingly to the rules included

I'm not going to wait for 3.5 for anything, actually. When the books come out, I'll borrow them from someone to see if they're good, and maybe use one or two things from them, if anything. But honestly, it's a bad idea to let a future release rule your present gaming situation.

I'm in the middle of DMing a Forgotten Realms campaign, and I plan on converting it to 3.5e when the books come out this July. It will help that the new SRD will be released the same day as the books, since some of my players likely won't be getting the revised PHB as soon as it comes out.

Given your namesake, Id suggest getting a Wheel of Time game together.

Nah. The game I'm playing online is doing a really good job of keeping that particular addiction fed.

Could do a few one shots though I suppose. d20 Modern maybe. Or maybe a table-top Vampire game.

Wow. Now that i think about it, there is a lot of stuff I've been wanting to play around with.
