I want in on an Eberron Game

I've been watching and waiting, scouring this forum for an Eberron game that looks like one I'd want to play in, but I havn't seen anything. Sadly, since I've ran the Forgotten Forge, and all of the other modules that are out now (including the dragon magazine ones), I havn't had a chance to join any games.

So, I'm creating this thread hoping that someone here that was considering the idea for a while might get the extra push to offer to run such a game.

Keep an eye out. I'm trying to get one together in real life, but if it doesn't work out I'll probably run a PbP.

Creamsteak, I've just taken over the dying Khorvarian Days & Knights game and I don't know how many of the original players are sticking around. So if you want in, drop a character concept in the game's Talking The Talk thread. The other five characters are listed in the Khorvarian Days & Knights rogue gallery thread, so you'll be able to see what we already (possibly) still have.

I have had an idea that I have been working on a bit, and might start up soon also :)

The basics would be for an adventuring party sponsored by a professional adventuring organization (I was thinking about calling it something like the 'League of the Extra-Ordinaries'). Every generation, the past members who have retired or moved on to other things, sponsor new 'blood' to take their place as the new guild members. They would give the players a base of operations (more then like in Shar somewhere), with living space, a library, a small laboratory, along with a stipend of cash (for living expenses and transportation). Other things might be contacts and/or safe houses in different cities and countries. The organization would have loose ties to the Crown of Breland, whom the group might occasionally work for (secretly).

The group would expect the party to mostly research and go out and adventure! And maybe come home to write trilling tales about it to be shared with other members. Occasionally people, groups or governments would come to them, seeking help with this or that.

Characters would start out I am thinking around 3rd level but with access to a lot of things that might normally not at such as low level AND they would advange farily quickly (and have pretty good stats to begin with) after all they are... Extra-Ordinary!

Anyway... still bonusing ideas around in my head right now

Wouldn't such an organization be a rival to the house that controls the mercenary trade across Korvaire?

If you start that game from the ground up, I'll definitely try to bite.
