"Meddling? Hah! I'm simply looking out for the best intrests of the students," Vanitri says, acting offended, though the grin that appears afterwards betrays him.

"Oh, but of course. However, many would view it as meddling and say that we would be better off leaving this to the authorities. I know this is stupid and would never happen, but consider this hypothetical scenario: The Academy guards a powerful magic item such that it only reveals itself to someone who isn't trying to grab it. We go to check on it and since we don't want to nab it, it reveals itself to us and then the would-be thief strikes," Elektra chuckles, "Of course, that just sounds like a poorly-written novel plot, so something like that wouldn't happen in real life, but I'm sure you get the idea."

*Elektra and Vanitri head off to Truman's room and find him studying.*

"Hey, Truman. You busy?"

"What's up Lex?"

"Did you hear about Gaark? Vanitri has been collecting some facts."

"Gaark? I saw people whispering, but I was working on other things. What's up with Gaark, Vanitri?"

"He disapeared, and left a suicide note, but there's not trace of his body, where he went, or what he did."

Vanitri will fill Truman in on any details he's gathered so far.

"What are your thoughts? I'm not convinced that he did it, but I can't prove it either way yet."
