IA: A Teacher for Laynie

OOC: No, but them + gear likely does.

150 lbs man + 50 lbs gear = 200. A warrior could weigh a bit more than that even.

(OOC: A warrior, sure, but Zaeryl gets in under that amount. I'd imagine you could probably shift some of the gear onto Triton if it was a close call...

Actually, I just checked the Monster Manual, and the designers gyp you, no pun intended on Vanitri, by choosing from the initial monster stat array of 11 11 11 10 10 10 to not put an 11 in Strength for the Light Warhorse. If you want a Light Warhorse that can carry 260 pounds, I'll let you have one, but you have to knock down one of the odd scores in Dex, Con, or Wis. May want to note that somewhere too in case the judges or another GM gives you a hard time about it)

OO: Ok, I'll move it from Wisdom, and I'll note it later in the sheet. Maybe they thought the animal was dumb which was why I got the deal :)

Gonna pull it from the SRD at home though, since that format works better in a character sheet than the one on d20srd.org

OOC: Yup, particularly if the horse wants to carry anything beyond a Saddle. I didn't Vanitri was that heavy...

OOC: Hewj isnt going to be able to keep up. No biggie. As I said in the Inn, Im SUPPOSED to be doing writing of a different sort anyway. I briefly considered doing a forced march, taking the hits, etc because it would be neat to see some of the lesser used rules in play, but I think I will just plan on packing it in when the obvious arrives.

*Laynie comes up on Triton too, and the group begins their journey, passing by another group of adventurers that is moving more slowly on their horses due to encumbrance.*

(OOC: Ashin's Commission group are using the same road at the same time  )
