"Oh, don't be silly Mister Old Man! I can't summon anything, I was just reading a bit, silly," Laynie giggles.

"With you, I wouldn't be supprised." Vanitri chuckles.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"What does that mean, Mister Old Man?"

 

[Bront]

"I'm not that old Laynie. You can call me Vanitri, or just Van if that's easier. And it's definately a compliment."

OOC: So, 550 miles by road is how many days?

 

[Rystil Arden]

"So it adds up to ninety, Van-Man?"

(OOC: Well, I'm not exactly sure about Mearran's spell and its effect, although the spell seems not to work on animals. Roads allow full movement without any terrain modifiers, though)

 

[Bront]

"No, a compliment is saying something good about someone else. I was saying how smart you are."

OOC: So, if he hits us both with the spell, we can walk at 40 for 8-10 hours easily, so should be covering 40 miles a day, getting us there in about 14 days. If he does it only on himself, that's walking at 30, for 8-10 hours, and we'll be there in about 20 days, but he'll have a spare spell (for healing perhaps)
