OOC: Is it ok if the kid and Yygmir are not near the fight? As the plan is to make a diversion, they should not be near Ursa at anytime.

Initiative : 1D20+3 = [14]+3 = 17

Heimdar prepares his hand-axes to cut Beldor free and waits for Ursa signal.
Then he will try to reach Beldor.

GM: Yes I thought you had mentioned he was protecting the boy, so he is on the other side of the wall from where the spiders are. Now they can climb it no problem but the heroes are a bit of a distraction for them ;)

Ulfred watched as Ursa rushed past him and a giant spider burst from the webs. “Well that’s a beast.” Ulfred said as he readied his bow to take a shot at the monstrosity.

OOC:

AC currently 14 with bow

Initiative: 1D20+2 = [20]+2 = 22

This isn’t a good start. Wasted the twenty on initiative.
Great Bow attack: 1D20+5 = [1]+5 = 6

[sblock=Combat]
Initiative: 2
AC 16/18 (leather corset and shield, when fighting with broadsword increases to 18)
HP: 20
Speed: 30
Broadsword +5 to hit 5ft 1d8+2 slashing
Greatbow +5 to hit 150/600ft 1d8+2 piercing[/sblock]

Ursa is startled for only half a second as the size of the spider becomes clear.

”Big one,” she mutters while throwing the handaxe at the sixlegged creature and then grabbing her greataxe in both hands.

OOC: Initiative: [roll0]
I’ll roll for the handaxe ranged attack too: [roll1] for [roll2] damage

Not raging yet this round. Next round I’ll attack then flee unless the other spiders start ganging up on me.

The elf attempts to free himself, finishing climbing and then move slowly along the wall.

GM: For Caranthir and Heimdar they do not need to make any additional Athletic checks as they has made it too the top of the wall. Heimdar still has an action AS his initiative is before the Spiders

Ulfred drew an arrow to bow and released almost before anyone else had blinked but in his haste his aim suffered and the arrow sank into the webbing over the huge spider. Ursa drew an axe from her belt and threw into the body of the spider-thing causing it to hiss in pain as it reared back on its hing legs. Both Heimdar and Caranthir raced quietly along the walls of the keep and the woodsman struck out at the webbing. As fate would have it something noticed as the webbing was cut and poor Beldar's cocooned body fell to the ground (and a muffled "uff" sound from within when he hit the ground)... two huge spiders emerged from nearby webs and turned up to look onto the wander with multiple baleful eyes! Another two emerged closer to Ursa and Ulfred!

The wounded spider continued to rear up before Ursa and then, from its nether region, thick webbing shot out and encased her tightly!!! To her horror the Beorning found that she could not move! Two other giant spiders emerged from their holes and raced towards her and Ulfred. The first racing up to the Barding and tried to bite him but it missed. The second moved in on Ursa and attempted to hit her with its sting but somehow the young slayer avoided the toxic venom of the sharp... end. The last pair of the monsters raced up the webbing and wall to bite at Heimdar, one piecing his armour on his thigh to inflict a slight wound and the other the woodsman was able to hold off with his axe!

GM: Initiative
22 - Ulfred
18 - Ursa
17 - Heimdar and Caranthir
16 - Attercop spider[sblock=Rolls & Results]Ulfred missed with a natural 1
Usra hit attercop #1 for 4 points of damage bring it down to 18 HP
Caranthir still has his action from last round but moved to where Beldor was
Heimdar cut the webbing holding Beldor causing it to fall to the ground where he landed with a hard thud. His stealth check was not good enough and two spiders sensed him.

The wounded attercop tries to use its Web vs. Ursa web ranged attack: 1D20+5 = [12]+5 = 17, hit! This causes Ursa to be Restrained. To escape requires a DC 13 Strength saving throw as an Action. The webbing can also be attacked; AC 10, hp 5 and vulnerable to fire damage, immunity to bludgeoning, poison and psychic damage.
The other two come out and one attacks Ursa Sting attack (advantage because restrained) and damage if it hits: 2D20.HIGH(1)+3 = [11, 7]+3 = 14; 1D4+1 = [3]+1 = 4, missed!!!
The other moves past her to attack Ulfred Bite attack, damage if it hits: 1D20+5 = [2]+5 = 7; 1D6+3 = [2]+3 = 5, miss!
The last two move to attack Heimdar (as they notice the elf only after they make it to the top of the wall and were heading right for the woodsman); Bite attack, damage if it hits: 1D20+5 = [16]+5 = 21; 1D6+3 = [1]+3 = 4
1D20+5 = [5]+5 = 10; 1D6+3 = [4]+3 = 7
, one hit for 4 damage and one missed. Heimdar is down to 20HP[/sblock][sblock=Conditions]Ulfred HP 20/20
Ursa HP 28/28 (Restrained)
Heimdar HP 20/24
Caranthir HP 16/16

Attercop #1 HP 18/22
Attercop #2 HP 22/22
Attercop #3 HP 22/22
Attercop #4 HP 22/22
Attercop #5 HP 22/22[/sblock]Heroes Actions and Rolls for Round 2?

Ursa barely has time to shout in alarm as the spiderweb encases her. She squirms, trying to free herself, not noticing her twitching motions prevent another spider from hitting her.

Panic starts taking over as Ursa keeps moving, trying to get rid of the sticky, filthy web stuff. With a guttural roar, she snaps and instead of worming her way out, the warrior uses brute strength. The strands break as Ursa, wild-eyed and filled with rage, tears her way through and fixes her glare to the offending arachnid, great axe at the ready!

OOC: Bonus action: Battle-fury (grants advantage to Strength saves)
Action: Attempt to escape the webs for DC 13 Strength saving throw (with advantage): [roll0] [roll1] (success!)
