As Bellalalalalinda heads into the village, her mind is reeling as she tries to settle her Hunter's Mark on an opponent. It's a supernatural gift, one that is easily trained among the forest hunters, and she squeezes her nose as she tries to find focus, and have it settle somewhere.

Who, truly, is her enemy?

She has reloaded her crossbow for when she finds out.

Behind her, Whistler scampers, closing the distance and getting away from the sphere that had so frightened everyone else.

[[As per OOC: if Mark is still on Sorceress, she's not at zero; if Bell's within 90' (? subject to DM) it can settle on Giant.]]

[[Bell has advantage on Wis (survival) checks to track and on int. checks to recall info. about giants and humanoids, and advantage on saving throws on spells and abilities. In case it's relevant.]]

[[If she has a target after the Move, she will fire. Concentration maintained.]]

Looking around the village, Gul could not see any sign of life, so he presumed everyone was still hiding from the monsters. He cast an irritated glance towards the orb, slightly bemused that nothing had yet happened to it. Then he saw Koldan gesturing towards the fog and the door, focusing his attention back to the matter at hand.

"I can open that door magically, from a distance, if it is not locked. You know, just in case there are traps?"

While waiting for the others to get ready, he used his arcance senses to study the fog, feeling in his mind's eye for any trace of the Weave. It made sense that a cloud giant would have an affinity with fog, yet he kept an open mind.

His sword drawn and ready, Davaros silently searches the area for signs of the giantess.

Both ends of this soot-stained building are massive stone blocks that rise into tall, wide chimneys. It appears to be a smithey. The door appears to be locked, but it's not hard to figure out how to break in without doing any permanent damage. Upon prying open the door you can see that the cellar is full of a strange fog.

[sblock=Gul]It's a Gaseous Form spell.[/sblock]

In the distance, unknown to the party, the orb pulses 8 times.

On the cloud's action, it attempts to flee through the forges vents, up and away. A painful decision, but when corned in a building too small to even hold your size...

So at this point the giantess is above the building as a cloud. Everyone can take an action.

Uric shouts "Coward" in frustration. He can't really do anything to affect a 'cloud' so he grits his teeth and shakes his sword at the supposed giant in cloud form. He then looks around to make sure there are not other creatures still fighting in the area...

As she gets within 90' of the giant, Bellalalalalinda tries to transfer the Hunter's Mark to the Cloud of Storm Giant. She still has seen no body of the sorceress it is currently marking, and she trusts that the mark won't shift if her initial quarry is still alive.

Vainly, she fires a quarrel at the gaseous mist. Since she is a sharpshooter, it passes through, with swirls of mist whirling in a trail at the point it had passed. The mist seems not to have noticed.

She continues to hope for sight of the fallen sorceress.

[roll0]. If a het damage = [roll1] (plus [roll2] if Hunter's mark transfers.

[[As per OOC: if Mark is still on Sorceress, she's not at zero; if Bell's within 90' (? subject to DM) it can settle on Giant.]]

"Hmm, is there any point in antagonising her, or should we just track her, if that's possible," Gul mused, "Well, magical weapons should affect her in that form.. Let's see.."

Drawing arcane power from the Weave, he focused on the centre of the cloud and two eldritch blasts scored through it.

OOC:
If attacked, shield spell reaction please using warlock slot.
