Gul was irritated at himself for not realising the power of the orb, but there was no point in dwelling on that. He stayed close to Davaros as they moved out of the area, and tried to use his fiendish vigor to protect himself from damage.

As the winds begin to blow, Bellalalalalinda finds comfort in the fact that she sees the charred husk of the felling sorceress. One less foe, she thinks, pointing to Whistler.
She makes a quick check of the still-smoking corpse, and then stands to face the fleeing giant. She hears his words with skepticism.
The giant continues moving away from the orb. The orb continues to batter the town. The citizens that are still around seem to panic and move indoors, or some try to persevere into the storm to save livestock or property though flying debris quickly makes any such efforts seem like a very bad idea.
Most of you can surmise that the ball has "shattered" and can't be really effected at this point short of a Wish spell or something other crazy. An hour long windstorm for everyone!
The devastation will last for 1 hour. 1 mile radius. As for the giant if you want to use your feature to try to stop her from running, that works however it works, but really the only thing for her to do given her size at this point is to start walking. At least with her hit point pool and constitution, she won't die before she gets out most likely.
Never mind her survival, what about ours!!
If we used the giantess on one side as a shield, and Davaros with his aura on the other side, with the rest of the party in the middle, would that be one of the better ways to get out with minimum damage?
