Bellalalalinda wants to go to the Wink and kiss, to secure a room.
"One with a window," she suggests, "A big one."
She asks out of curiosity if they allow pets, but is talking to one of her companions when she receives the answer.

Bellalalalinda hasn't been here before, and keeps giggling when she hears the name Laughingflow. "What a great name!" she enthuses, and will ask people if they have boats and can take her for a ride on the river.

The Wink and Kiss is a large tavern staffed by a dozen dancers, servers, and cooks protected by two human bouncers.

The server in front of Bell responds first by trying to explain, "This isn't an... the room is reserved... it has two smaller windows... there's a stable... maybe you're looking for the Pearl-Handled Pipe... White Winged Griffon... Waterbaron's hall... I... are you even... yes there are..."

Davaros was frustrated with himself. He had wanted to strike at the retreating giant, but it was not being aggressive, and his code of conduct had prevented him from doing so. However, there was a voice inside him that had tempted him, toyed with his emotions to urge him to strike. He was not comfortable with this and he had spent much time in the last day in quiet meditation and prayer.

he was now accompanying his companions, and was in front of the Wink and Kiss with Bell. He was quite find of this little gnome, so innocent and so curious. He understood what sort of establishement this was, and again, he heard the voice whispering that he should go in. A warm belly to rest on would not do any harm he thought to himself. Not for the moment, Bell wouldn't like it. He was half surprised and half amused by this reflection: why should he care what Bell thought? It seemed that his thoughts weren't his own lately.

Saluting the bouncers with his helm, he said to both them and Bell: "Thank you sir; the White Winged Griffon sound just about right. Shall we go there Bell?"

Belllalalalinda looks up at Davaros. "That sounds great!" she says enthusiastically. The gnome turns back to the proprietor, winks and makes a clicky noise with her mouth. "Catch ya latah, pal." She seems to think she is doing a spot-on impression of someone, and congratulates herself with a giggle. Then she turns away and guides Davaros outside, leaving the proprietor unaware of her uncannily accurate rendition of the heroine in a gnomish play she had seen as a child.

There's a strange fishy smell to the town and a lot of foot traffic. Nearest to the Wink & Kiss is Dannath's Pickles, Nuts, & Foods; Esklindrar's Maps, Books, & Folios; and the clothing shop Winter Winds. If you do want to head to the creeking hostel that is the White Winged Griffon, it's quite a bit away and a cart ride to that district can be procured for 2 copper and 10 minutes, or it takes 20 minutes to walk there on foot.

The town is crowded, and it seems good sense to watch your pockets.

Belalalalalinda want to take a ride, so that she can see better over the crowds. She'll even pay for others, fishing out a silver piece with her stubby fingers.

The cart takes you around town to the northern quarter. You pass the largest structure in Yartar, the Waterbaron's Hall. The hall is large with marble engravings, a peaked roof held up by pillars, stone lions, and you pass a series of stocks for flogged prisoners. Another building, marked "Hasklar's Arms and Armor" showcases high quality arms and armor. Next, a low beamed and smoky looking tavern known as The Cointoss. In the river nearby a large heavily armored barge rests like a military showpiece on the river.

Finally you arrive at the White Winged Griffon.

This creaking hostel threatens to come down during high winds, letting the chill blow through the bones of tenants. Known locally as the Whitewings, it has the virtue of being cheap, but the rooms are small with partitions between them. More rats than people live here, and the plumbing consists of chamber pots emptied out of back hatches into a cesspool. The Whitewings is run by two mumbling, toothless old brothers who shamble about with mops and greasy rags and seem too decrepit to notice anything.

Gul rode his own horse behind Bella on the cart, but a little put out when he saw the condition of the Whitewings. "Was there some reason in particular that we have come to this establishment? Maybe we could find somwewhere a little more exclusive? Although while we are here, Hasklar's Arms and Armor looks quite interesting, let me look at their wares for a few moments."

He spent a short time in the armory, ready to go with the others when they wished.

Davaros laughs when he see the establishment. "The name lead me to believe this place would be adequate, which obviously it isn't. Indeed, lets move on to something more adequate. Perhaps the something Pipe, I can't recall he exact name, or the Waterbaron's hall. Let try the pipe first."
