“Do I look like I know anything about how these lifts work?” the human woman asked. She was, indeed, rather finely dressed, probably a noble resident of the area.

“You don’t look like the Watch,” the shifter woman said with a frown. “Why would you need to look at a broken lift? Can’t you just let a gal have a snog in peace?”

"Public space," Ogham intones, not seeming to understand why the women insist on privacy in such a non-private place.

Apparently Rotom has other ideas, and the warforged internally shrugs. He will never understand the intricacies of humanoid behaviour.

Ogham looks at the kobold for hints if he does something completely out of line, but as long as she does not give him such, the warforged continues examining the lift, looking for the elusive medusa.

Rotom was visibly flustered. She didn't know where to begin when it came to explaining to Ogham where eggs came from.

She turned her head up towards her other companions, with a sense of desperation creeping across her face.

Ogham pushes the shifter and the human aside as he enters the lift.

“You stupid tin can!” the human woman objects in a haughty tone. “What are you doing? I’ll call the Watch!”

Ogham finds the medusa panel amid all the prancing unicorns on the lift walls. A close examination reveals it hides the seams of a secret panel. He’ll need a tool or something to pry it open.

Ogham motions for Rotom to come inspect the panel.

"Need tool," he adds, completely ignoring the two women who are by now very annoyed by him. Nevertheless, the warforged steps out of the lift, in order to make room for his kobold friend.

Then he wonders why his companions are looking at him like that. He found the medusa panel, didn't he?

Korra eyes the ladies in the lift. "We work for watch. You leave now. Place not safe for pretty ladies."

Alara watched the byplay with exasperation. The couple were clearly uncomfortable with the interruption, and the noblewoman was going to have no patience with all of this.

"Please," offered the Aundairan, addressing the one she judged to be nobility. "My associates are telling the truth when they say we are on a mission for the Watch. And time is a factor - there is at least one child in danger. If things were different I would beg your pardon for the interruption and walk away, but as things are we cannot afford to wait. Perhaps you could...find another venue?"

The human woman sighed after Alara spoke. “Come, Luna. They’re ruined the night already,” she sniffed, pushing past the Plumbers, dragging the shifter woman by the hand.

“I don’t know, Vonnie,” Luna said. “We could go dancing. The night is still young.” They continued discussing their plans as they walked away from the lift.
