(IC) The Chaos principle

It didn't take long for our 'friend' to come looking for revenge.

The Githzerai monk reacts with unearthly speed and dashes towards the White Slaad tumbling past possible enemies in the way striking the horrible frog-like creature and retreating back next to Susanna to protect the spellcaster.

(OOC: spring attack (+31 to hit) on the White Slaad, using quivering palm (DC 31). If the attack goes through the Slaad dies at the same instant.)

Kharas will draw his light mace and his buckler, except if he sees an openeing for a sneak attack, in that case, he only draw his weapon and try to attack.

Takarna shoots off a quick spell and begins to cast another, "We want it killed here, lest it not tell others what it knows,"

Quickened greater dispelling (area option), followed by Time Stop.

Elendel, Still up in the corner of the room with the four arrows knocked, releases them from his readied stance (readied action: previous to initiative).

The four arrows leave his bow to streak at the white frog being.

(OoC: Attacks: 47, 50, 56 (Confirm? 47), 53 Damage: 29+21=50, 28, 87, 27 for a total of (if they all hit) 192 points of damage.

Harald roars deafeningly as he steps forward, claws gripping the gnoll in an inescapably lethal hug.

OOC: Raging, full attacking the gnoll-like critter (15 foot reach lets me), and initiating a grapple if possible with improved grab.

*Quillia is shocked by the appearance of the slaad and his companions, but starts to cast a spell. Pointing her finger at the slaad, she intones a single word.*

"Dust!" as a sickly green ray streaks from her finger toward the slaad.

OOC: disintigrate targeted on the white slaad. Hits 26 ranged touch attack for 135 points of damage if he fails a Fortitude save of DC 25. 19 points of damage if he makes it.

[Phoenix]

Susanna steps backwards quickly and begins to gesture furiously. Magical energies quickly form about one of her hands, and with no more than a gesture a luminous purple hand shoots out towards the slaad.

"Voortmoth, you err in returning!"

That's the problem with summoning plane-shifting creatures, they can easily get a return ticket.

OOC: Casting empowered Harm on the White Slaad for 225pts damage (Will save DC 27 for 112pts) using Divine Reach (30ft range). Ranged touch attack bonus +17, initiative bonus +7.

Ooc: Sorry for the delay i have worked alot of OT recently.



Pre Init: Elendel lets 4 arrows fly towards the White Slaad at the last moment
the 4 arrows veer off and streak back into Elendel With lightning like reflexes
Elendel dodges the first arrow. the other 3 hit one crits DMG=142 pts.

Dalaa Gand with near divine grace springs forward to strike at the White Slaad
Barely hitting with a 46 the Slaad reels under assault Dmg=30 the Slaad shrugs off
the palm effect.Upon striking the Slaad Dalaa feels his mind being attacked but
resists. Dalaa tumbles back beside Susanna.

The Slaad screams in rage at the strike and points at dalaa he feels his
life energy being snuffed out but resists DMG=24

Kharas leaps forward to crush one of the humans. Hit 51 confirm 46 crit.
Dmg=58+5e+12h the blow encounters resistance from the humans body. AS the
weapon connects an unholiness tries to sap Kharas's strength but he resists.

Elendel after feeling the bite of his own arrows unloads a barrage of arrows into one of the 3 humans. It goes down from the relentless barrage.

The Gnoll whips out the 2 swords and charges Harald a look of fury in its eyes.
As the gnoll charges Harald takes a swipe at him. The swing comes in solid and
swishes thru empty air it would seem the gnoll was not qute standing there it
would seem he was a a foot or so to the left.
The Gnoll rains a flurry of blows on Harald from his swords. (Dire Charge)

The 2 humans flank Kharas a total of 4attack are launched on Kharas all
of the miss.

Harald decides to rip the gnoll up Full attack: 58 Miss due to displ
, 52 dmg=33 int grapple easily won by harald, 51 dmg=24
total = 57pts and grapple the unholiness of the gnoll has no effect on
you

Takarna Whips out a quckened greater dispelling to even up the odds a bit
it appears from looks on the bad guys faces magics went down.
Then Takarna pulls upon arcane energies of tim to sppe himself up to
incredible speeds beyond the others.(Time stop 5 Rnds)

Ooc: combat is held while we wait for Takarna's 5 rounds.

Kharas looks around him. As he sees he have become a main target, he takes his buckler and put it on his arm and draw his sword (2 movement action...) and shout "Can't someone throw a fireball on me please!"

Susanna does not skip a beat as she takes another step back away from the creatures and prays to Kelemvor further, grasping her holy symbol firmly and gesturing towards the group of men attacking Kharas.
