OOC: She will just give them the same vague "he didn't make it" line she gave Topsy, and ask Eldeth and Derendil to look after her.

Then she'll return to Ploop's tent, where she'll have some things to say about these let's-save-the-zealot plans...

OOC: I am going to do insight on Ploop. I am going to make it at disadvantage due to the alien nature of these fish-folk.

Taking in Ploop's words, Ezraen looks at Erevan again, "Erevan, now that you have heard the... man... What do you intend to do? We can knock her out, but it does not seem that her father does not really intend to reconcile, will you do the job of rehabilitating her? What makes her any different from one of those drow priestesses that enslaved us, aside from the fact that her father found us first? Get me close enough and I think that I can tell, without a doubt that her god is Evil. If we are armed with that knowledge, will that help you do this?"

On her way back to Ploop's tent, Surana clenches her jaw as she walks past the patch of ground still soaked in Turvy's blood. She closes her eyes, thinking of everyone she'd just seen back at camp. If she attacked now, they'd all be dead not long after her. It wasn't an option, no matter how badly she wanted it to be.

She takes a deep breath, opens her eyes, and enters the tent.

She nods tersely in greeting, indicating an end to her hostility but no sign of friendliness. She takes a seat near the elves.

"What do I need to know?" she asks, looking to both Shuushar and the elves.

Ezraen gives Surana a tentative smile, but her no nonsense demeanor shuts him down immediately. He clears his throat and begins explaining, "The Kuo-toan priest says that this Deep Father god of his daughter is a danger to us all. Having had communion with Lathander, I am inclined to agree. While his own goddess is no shining paragon of virtue, we have common cause in removing his daughter from power."

Looking to Erevan, the paladin continues, "While I am not overzealous to kill her, I am willing to do what needs to be done, but Erevan has reservations. He feels that if there is reconciliation that can be done between the priest and his daughter, then we should try. I am getting the feeling that this has gone far past that, or at very least, the priest doesn't care about any such thing with his daughter."

Ezraen pauses for a second, "Is that about right, 'Van?"

Erevan nods, adding, "Correct. But just because someone has made bad choices doesn't mean they are beyond saving. Don't get me wrong, she is probably thinking in ways that are completely alien to us; so are the other kuo toa, sorry Shuushar. I'm just saying that if there is a chance to avoid bloodshed, we should take it. Both because it's the right thing to do, and because it increases our own chances of survival."

The elf hesitates, glancing towards the kuo toan priest before quickly whispering, "Or we skip that and just take the food and boats."

Surana sits quietly and listens to the elves' thoughts, her eyes occasionally flickering to Shuushar. She hated helping Ploop, but took solace in the fact that they were helping Shuushar, too. If Blopp was a danger to Sloobludop, she was a danger to him.

When Erevan finishes, she fixes her gaze on Ploop.

"Leaving Blopp alive is a mistake.

Some things are the same everywhere. The mad and strong will always find followers--the weak of mind and weak of body, desperate for a taste of power and glory that only the mad would promise them. My tribe fought others with leaders like this.

In your place, I would crush her. Destroy the shrine. Show that the Deep Father does not provide the power he promises, not even to his chosen priestess, and leave her followers nothing to unite behind. Because if you spare her, and she escapes you..."
She shakes her head slowly.

"Her followers will believe her and her god stronger than ever. Like he protected and freed her, besting you and the Sea Mother. You will not defeat her after that."

Ezraen gives Erevan a wry smile, "You know that I believe in second chances. This is evil, if it comes between killing her and letting this evil spread through the Underdark, I will run her through myself. Remember, despite our ruse, she intends to sacrifice us to her evil god! Do you think she will hesitate to cut any of us open? Surana is correct, we need to break their believe. Whether that means killing her or knocking her out, we need to stop her. I think whether we do the killing or not," the paladin looks at Ploop and his son, "I think she is dead."
